Do you remember your first bike adventure as a kid? The excitement, the freedom, the feeling that anything was possible. At Northride, we believe more people should experience that same sense of freedom every day, not just on weekends.
Northride is helping New Zealand employers offer bikes and e-bikes as an employee benefit, making commuting healthier, more affordable, and more sustainable.
Northride is the New Zealand business of Vapaus Group, an international mobility and employee benefit company headquartered in Finland and operating across multiple European markets. Since launching in 2020, Vapaus Group has helped tens of thousands of people access bikes through workplace benefit schemes. The business continues to grow internationally as demand for healthier and more sustainable commuting solutions rises.
While backed by an experienced international group, this role is focused entirely on growing Northride in the New Zealand market.
We're looking for a hands-on Growth Marketing Specialist to join our Auckland team and help build the Northride brand locally through HubSpot driven marketing, campaigns, events, partnerships, content creation, and digital lead generation.
The Role
This is a broad startup role where no two days are the same. One day you might be building landing pages and email workflows in HubSpot, the next day helping coordinate an employer event, creating social media content, supporting a bike shop activation, or launching a lead generation campaign.
HubSpot will sit at the centre of much of the role. We are looking for someone comfortable working across CRM systems, digital campaigns, forms, landing pages, email marketing, lead flows, and reporting, or someone eager to rapidly grow those skills in a fast moving startup environment.
We are looking for someone who enjoys variety, takes initiative, and is comfortable rolling up their sleeves to help wherever needed. You won't know everything on day one, but curiosity, adaptability, and a genuine willingness to learn matter more than a perfect CV.
You will work closely with the NZ team across sales, partnerships, events, and marketing, while also collaborating with colleagues from the wider Vapaus Group marketing and growth teams internationally.
This role is based in Auckland (our office is in Wynyard Quarter and has bike parking), or elsewhere in New Zealand for the right candidate, and requires the right to work in NZ. As part of an international business, some flexibility in working hours is required, including occasional evening calls and some evening or weekend events.
